TMview & Designview: new members
On April 26, 2017, the Indian Intellectual Property Office joined TMview and deposited its data on more than 800,000 trademarks to the search tool bringing the total number of trademarks available in TMview to nearly 43 million trademarks. The Indian IP Office became the 57th member of the search tool.
On the same date, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) made its design data available to Designview search tool and became the 54th member of Designview. Including data on 20,000 designs from IPOPHL, Designview gives access and information on over 10.4 million industrial designs registered worldwide. It is worth mentioning that IPOPHL has also been a member of ASEAN Designview since 2015.
Said accessions were performed as a result of the projects for intellectual property cooperation with the IP Offices of India and the Philippines administered by the EUIPO.
