Turkey: Trademark and Industrial Design Bulletins are issued twice a month now
According to the Turkish Patent Institute announcement from 18.02.2106, the Official Trademark Bulletin as well as Official Industrial Design Bulletin are now published twice a month, while previously they were published monthly.
Starting from February 2016, the Official Trademark Bulletin is published on 12th and 27th of each month and the Official Industrial Design Bulletin is published on 9th and 24th of each month.
As stated in the Turkish Trademark Decree Law and Industrial Design Decree Law, an opposition to the trademark registration may be filed within three months and an opposition to the registration of an industrial design may be filed within six months from the publication of an application in the relevant Bulletin.
