Abstract[English]
A ladder-type airbag 100 deployable for the safety of a rear-seat occupant 101 of a vehicle, in the event of an impact is provided, comprising inflatable side-support segments 106a, 106b, 106c, 106d, 106e and 106f are connectingly disposed and configured to receive an inflation gas, inflate and extend along either side of head and neck portions of the rear-seat occupant 101. Inflatable frontal-support segments 109, 110 are spatially bridged between second and third pairs of side-support segments 106c, 106d, 106e and 106f and disposed to guide and decelerate the forward moving and downward rotating head portion of the rear-seat occupant 101 and absorb kinetic energy. A bottom-support segment 111 is spatially disposed from at least the second-frontal support segment 110, to inflate and restrain the head and neck portions of the rear-seat occupant 101, while absorbing a residual kinetic energy, in a final deployed condition.[French]
Un coussin gonflable de sécurité de type échelle (100) déployable pour la sécurité d'un occupant de siège arrière (101) d'un véhicule, en cas d'impact, comprend des segments gonflables de soutien latéral (106a, 106b, 106c, 106d, 106e et 106f) disposés de manière à être reliés et configurés pour recevoir un gaz de gonflage, se gonfler et s'étendre le long de chaque côté des parties de tête et de cou de l'occupant de siège arrière (101). Des segments gonflables de soutien frontal (109, 110) sont raccordés spatialement entre des deuxième et troisième paires de segments de soutien latéral (106c, 106d, 106e et 106f) et disposés pour guider et décélérer la partie de tête se déplaçant vers l'avant et pivotant vers le bas de l'occupant de siège arrière (101) et absorber l'énergie cinétique. Un segment de soutien inférieur (111) est disposé spatialement à partir d'au moins le second segment de soutien frontal (110), pour se gonfler et retenir les parties de tête et de cou de l'occupant de siège arrière (101), tout en absorbant une énergie cinétique résiduelle, dans un état déployé final.
