Detailed information related to the European Patent.
In the Netherlands, the validation and publication of European patents depend on the timely submission of a Dutch translation, as well as compliance with local formalities, including payment of fees and appointment of legal representation.
For validation of the European Patent in the Netherlands, it is required to supply the translation of the claims into Dutch within three months from the date of publication of the European Patent. However, if the patent was filed in French or German, an English or Dutch translation of the description must also be filed.
