Argentina: fee changes

On July 18, 2017, the Resolution 311-E/2017 was published in the Official Gazette of Argentina announcing the upcoming increase in fees for patents, utility models, trademarks and industrial designs. Like in 2016, the fees will be increased in two phases – on August 1, 2017 and October 1, 2017.

For your reference please see the implemented changes in the table below. The fees are indicated in Argentine Pesos with approximate amounts in USD.

As you may see, some fees will increase while others remain unchanged. The average rate of the fee increase will constitute approximately 30%. The fees for utility model prosecution constitute 50% of those for patents, as previously.
