Bulgaria and Brazil: Implementation of e-services
Patent and trademark offices worldwide aim to implementation of the electronic services to simplify procedures and create paperless environment. Being more convenient and available 24/7 e-services often offer discounted official fees.
Patent Office of Republic of Bulgaria introduced new online services for industrial designs and trademarks as of April 7, 2015. New electronic services for industrial designs and trademarks include filing an application, renewal, recordal of right transfer and license agreement, etc.
The Brazilian National Institute of Intellectual Property introduced a new system for filing and further prosecution of industrial design applications as of April 22, 2015. The 50 % reduction on the official fees applies.
