Austria and Germany: New online services for trademark prosecution are available
In pursuance of simplification of IP protection process at the Austrian Patent Office and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office new online services were implemented.
The Austrian Patent Office is offering e-payments services for applicants (online bank transfer and credit card) for online filing of the trademark applications as of January 1, 2015.
The German Patent and Trade Mark Office will introduce e-filing of trademark applications as of March 23, 2015. E-filing service for patent, utility model and design application is already available.
