Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wellpappenanlage (2), welche sich in einer Längsrich- tung (L) von einer Rückseite (4) bis zu einer Vorderseite (6) erstreckt, welche ein Wet End (8) aufweist, welches an der Rückseite (4) beginnt, und ein Dry End (10), welches an der Vorderseite (6) endet, welche ausgebildet ist zur Herstellung von Wellpappe aus mehreren Papierbahnen (12, 12a), welche einen Drucker (28) auf- weist, zum Bedrucken einer der Papierbahnen (12), sodass diese dann eine be- druckte Papierbahn (12a) mit einer bedruckten Seite (30) ist, welche eine Trocken- strecke (32) für die bedruckte Papierbahn (12a) aufweist, wobei die Trockenstre- cke (32) am Drucker (28) beginnt. The invention relates to a corrugator (2) which extends in a longitudinal direction (L) from a rear side (4) to a front side (6), the corrugator comprising: a wet end (8) which begins at the rear side (4); and a dry end (10) which ends at the front side (6). The corrugator is designed to produce corrugated cardboard from a plurality of paper webs (12, 12a). The corrugator also comprises: a printer (28) for printing on one of the paper webs (12) so that said paper web is then a printed paper web (12a) having a printed side (30); and a drying section (32) for the printed paper web (12a), the drying section (32) beginning at the printer (28). The invention also relates to a method for operating a corrugator (2) and to a method for retrofitting an original corrugator into a corrugator (2).
