Abstract [English] According to the invention there is a method of applying a catalyst layer to a surface, the method comprising the steps of: providing a donor substrate having opposing first and second surfaces and providing a catalyst ink disposed as a layer on the second surface, wherein the catalyst ink comprises a catalyst and a solvent; providing an acceptor substrate, wherein the second surface of the donor substrate faces towards the acceptor substrate; and irradiating the catalyst ink with laser radiation at a wavelength which is absorbed by the catalyst ink so as to transfer the catalyst ink from the donor substrate to the acceptor substrate. [French] L'invention concerne un procédé d'application d'une couche de catalyseur sur une surface, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir un substrat donneur présentant des première et seconde surfaces opposées et fournir une encre de catalyseur disposée sous la forme d'une couche sur la seconde surface, l'encre de catalyseur comprenant un catalyseur et un solvant ; fournir un substrat accepteur, la seconde surface du substrat donneur étant orientée vers le substrat accepteur ; et irradier l'encre de catalyseur avec un rayonnement laser à une longueur d'onde qui est absorbée par l'encre de catalyseur de façon à transférer l'encre de catalyseur du substrat donneur au substrat accepteur.
