A tent system includes a base, a canopy, and a frame system. The base is configured to mount to a vehicle. The frame system is coupled to the base and configured to expand and collapse the canopy. The frame system includes a first frame member, a second frame member, a third frame member, and a fourth frame member. The first frame member includes a first support and a first leg, the first leg configured to pivot about the first support. The second frame member includes a second support and a second leg, the second leg configured to pivot about the second support. The tent system can provide a folding mechanism to easily and efficiently open and close the canopy, increase an internal volume of the canopy, increase rigidity of the canopy, decrease setup time of the canopy, decrease a height of the base, and provide an automatic self-folding canopy.

L'invention concerne un système de tente qui comprend une base, un auvent et un système de cadre. La base est conçue pour être montée sur un véhicule. Le système de cadre est couplé à la base et est conçu pour étendre et plier la toile. Le système de cadre comprend un premier élément de cadre, un deuxième élément de cadre, un troisième élément de cadre et un quatrième élément de cadre. Le premier élément de cadre comprend un premier support et un premier pied conçu pour pivoter autour dudit premier support. Le second élément de cadre comprend un second support et un second pied conçu pour pivoter autour dudit second support. Le système de tente permet de fournir un mécanisme de pliage permettant d'ouvrir et de fermer facilement et efficacement l'auvent, d'augmenter un volume interne de l'auvent, d'augmenter la rigidité de l'auvent, de diminuer le temps d'installation de l'auvent, de diminuer une hauteur de la base, et de fournir un auvent auto-pliant automatique.
