San Marino: joining TMclass
On July 31, 2017, Patents and Trademarks Office of the Republic of San Marino (USBM) joined the international classification tool TMclass.
TMclass is a free online international database of the terms for goods and services. The USBM is the 58th Office joining TMclass. This global tool allows searching, verifying and translating terms in 42 languages.
Aside from TMclass, San Marino is a contracting party to the Madrid Agreement and the Protocol, which permits the applicants to file the international application with the USBM. At the same time, the EUTM is not valid in San Marino, as the Republic of San Marino is not a member state of the European Union.
